What is a home page?
A home page is the opening page of your site. It is saved usually
as: index.html.
A home page is where you set up links to other pages related
to the homepage, it gives an explanation of what your site will
be all about.
What Programs can
you create web pages in?
Many programs can create web pages but the most commonly available
are:
- Microsoft Word 97
- Adobe Pagemill
- Microsoft Frontpage
- Netscape Composer (part of netscape communicator)
- Microsoft Frontpage Express (part of Windows Explorer)
You may already have on of these on your school or
home computer, they will look a bit different from Word97, which
we will use, but will have most of the same features.
